Alex Hoffler is a dynamic food and drinks stylist, passionate about bringing food to life in commercial & editorial shoots. With a Leiths first class cooking diploma and a background in food marketing, Alex combines cooking expertise with a keen eye for aesthetics. Alex is a professional baker, and co-founded Meringue Girls in 2012 - a vibrant and innovative baking brand that quickly gained a cult following. She authored, styled & published two baking cookbooks with Random House - 'Meringue Girls Cookbook' and 'Everything Sweet'. The books were endorsed by Jamie Oliver ‘Naughty, but very very nice, these recipes are what dreams are made of.’ Jamie Oliver. Alex built a thriving Instagram community with over 170,000 followers - alluring food content creation & recipe videos being key to the business’ success. Highlights of the journey include creating eye-catching window displays at Selfridges of mountainous meringues, demos on Paul Hollywood's TV show, baking live on Sunday Brunch, and presenting baking videos for Waitrose. Alex has collaborated with renowned photographers including David Loftus and Tim Walker. Clients include Jamie Magazine, M&S, Diageo, Kellogg's, Green & Blacks, Buzzfeed, Belvita, Waitrose, The Guardian, Italian Vogue, Mr Porter, Grazia, Almond Board of California, Wines of Germany, and Wallpaper Magazine.
